A Brief History
In the past fifty years, world population has been booming. In the mid to late nineteenth century, cultural customs have made it so that certain families will have anywhere from five to ten kids each. In fact, the average children born per woman in Niger is almost seven! That's almost three times the average in the United States!
Comparatively, the world population has grown dramatically, showing exponential growth. With a steady population of 1 billion in 1800, the world population grew amazingly, with an astonishing 6 billion by 2000. Below is a chart showing years 1800-2100(Predicted).
